The scent of Ume

Now is the time of Ume blossoms. Here and there, in the parks and private gardens, I often see the Ume trees in bloom. This morning when I was walking on my way to the office I noticed the nicest scent of Ume blossoms. There was a Ume tree in full bloom in the frontyard of nearby private house. The house was quite common, ordinary one, not big nor rich house and the front yard was small. But white Ume blossoms were just wonderful, ant their scent. It was just luxury in February :)

THis sounds marvelous! There is no sign of ANYTHING growing, let alone blooming. Yesterday we still have minus 13°C in the morning and the whole week it was below zero even in the day. Today was the first day with only zero in the morning...but it is minus 5°C again ( it is half past eight pm.)...

Ohhh. As always, your winter sounds very severe! But your long and severe winter would give you the more beautiful spring colour… Though at the moment, it must be difficult for you and all the animals and plants. Please stay warm!
