I largely gave up on the news when I realized that I no longer had anything to say about it other than "panem et circenses" (bread and circuses) or "Da, eto Pravda" (literally, "Yes, that's the Truth" but colloquially "bullshit").

That looks almost exactly like a historic still-life painting. The only deviation I can see is that a leaf on the right is overlapping the small sculptural object there. Change the angle ever so slightly and it would be an exact match.
