Uguisu

This morning I walked to the office through the residential area. Today it's rather chilly but I heard the spring song - song of a Uguisu - Japanese bush warbler. It's a very shy bird of drab-colour so it's quite difficult to find it hiding in bush. Many Japanese has never seen it but most of us have surely listened its beautiful song. For us their song is the sign of spring!
