Yamaboushi

Yamaboushi, cornus kousa, is one of my favorite garden trees. Usually it's a just ordinary tree, but in early summer when it's bloom I can pick its branch to display ... like this.





I think it looks very chic :)

Oh my dear, this is an exquisite, spectacular tree! And accidentally, when I was walking with my grandchildren along family houses with gardens, I saw exactly this tree, small, well shaped but the stars were yellowish. YoursI like better, the colour is wonderful. And in the vase, it is fantastic and original!

Thank you. Yes this plant is lovely, especially this year my tree blooms quite well, so many flowers :)
