Come to Hiroshima
Aug. 6th, 2012 10:47 pm6th Aug. The day we humankind had used the nuclear weapon for the first time 67 years ago, the day we all should pray for the realization of world peace.
In Hiroshima every year they hold the Peace Memorial Ceremony, the Mayor of Hiroshima makes "Peace Declaration".
If you have the opportunity, visiting Hiroshima or Nagasaki might be interesting and educational just like visiting Auschwitz. I know I should not write political things here but after all Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the worst - or should I say most efficient? - slaughter by just 1 bomb, on just 1 day, in history.
On this day, every year, I feel the deepest sympathy, and anger - not against American people, of course not - against war itself. And even now, people are killing each other in Syria, various places in Africa, in USA, etc.
Hey, put your weapon down, come to Hiroshima, think, and imagine...
