Today I visited some office in Tokyo, 10 or 15 minutes walk from Tokyo station. On my way there I tried to find a pay phone for I had a business I didn't want to call from my mobile. Then I found - not a phone but that there was NO telephone box on the way from the train station to my destination. It's the best business district in Japan with the newest skyscrapers but no pay phones... unbelievable! Of course nowadays almost everyone - especially businessmen uses mobile phone and no need telephone box any more, still...   Until recently in any Japanese town we could easily find telephone box and now, what a change! Fortunately I found a pay phone in a lobby of an office building near my destination and used it. I thought... when have those useful telephone boxes gone from Japanese business district ??
