Singer day
Jan. 29th, 2017 10:14 pmToday I oiled my Singer, put the needle on it ...and tried to use it. I'm clumsy about needle work and have just a little experience with sewing machine so I need some practice.
First I wound the thread to the bobbin.
Looking at how the bobbin thread winding device move was really fun!
Today I sewed some old towels into dusters ...for rough sewing was enough for them X) At the beginning it's not easy to step the treadle properly but soon I got the knack.
It's wonderful to see this old machine still works properly! My Singer is German-made in the early 20th century, maybe about 100 year old! :)
