garden scissors

On summer weekend, I like spending 1 or 2 hours in the garden to weed late in the afternoon, then taking shower before supper.  But this year it's been too hot to be outside in daytime, I haven't weeded at all. Today it's cloudy and the temperature was not very high, and we had some nice breeze. So around 5pm I went out and cut the overgrown grass with garden scissors - weed some corners of the garden where we can't use the lawn mower. It's fun to use the scissors though they were rather big, heavy ones so after I entered house and took shower, I felt that my arms were quite heavy X(  I really need to get the physical stamina...

By the way at the moment we have the sudden, heavy rain! I know it will stop soon but I expect this rain will drop the temperature!
