And today, it has been also 75 years since the tragedy in Nagasaki. Tens of thousands Of ordinary people - men and women, old people, children, babies and foreigners were killed for the unnecessary testing of atomic weapon. The huge explosion in Beirut was a horrible tragedy, but atomic bomb caused the catastrophe of another level, not only several tens of times destructive but with murderous heat and radiation. The Beirut tragedy horrified me, I pray for the poor people there. And at the same time I couldn’t help but thinking about the people who has been burned by the another kind of explosion 75 years ago. All of those people had their own life - maybe just ordinary, and with many difficulties because of the war, still with much joy and smile and hope for the future. Just like our life of present day.
We are in the difficult time now, everywhere on this planet. Though we also have much fun and happiness though not very big things. On this high summer day which reminds me of many tragedy in the past I think of my own fortune, the small but sheer happiness of my ordinary life.

The harvest from our garden, for today’s supper.
