The first sign of autumn

Last night we have had some rain and the temperature has dropped. This morning when I woke up at 5:30 and opened the window there came rather cool air from outside ... it was bliss!! How comfortable!!
Of course in the daytime the temperature has risen and the humidity was rather high, we know our tough weather continues most of September. Still, this sudden coolness of early morning air made me feel some... how can I describe? a kind of sadness of autumn, the time when a year begins to fade.
