Cherry blossoms!!
Mar. 24th, 2021 09:49 pmToday I took a day off to go to see the cherry blossoms with my friend. We went to some park in Yokohama, which is popular for local people but not the tourists destination. Today it’s sunny and warm, and cherry trees were just in full bloom!! There were many people visiting there, but not too many, all of them were wearing masks. Some groups, including us, have brought some food and drink, but no alcohol, and after eating we wore the masks again soon. We have all kept enough distance each other, nobody talked loud. So we could feel quite safe and enjoy the blossoms.

We enjoyed yummy sandwiches we’ve bought in the local bakery, strolled around the park, looked at many cherry trees in full bloom, other trees with fresh leaves and beds of spring flowers, talked much (in the masks, of course). For me this is the first time to meet friend this year, so I really enjoyed this outing. Most of people visiting the park behaved quite well, all wore masks, no drinking alcohol or shouting. Still I’m afraid that this move of many people might provoke more infection.(how sad to think like that...)
