Winter sun
Dec. 13th, 2023 02:21 pmToday I work at home. It’s sunny and oddly warm, so very comfortable day.
A cat in the morning sun.
My room is at the east end of our house, my desk is facing the east window. There is the neighbour’s 2 story house on the east side so there comes not much sunshine from the window. In the afternoon I need to turn on the heating before it’s getting dark. The west end of our house is my mother’s room, her desk is facing the west window. Our house is on the hillside and on the west side of our house there is just a small street, we have the good view of the nearby area from mother’s window. Naturally in summer afternoon it’s quite hot in her room but on the sunny winter afternoon … the warm sunshine fills her room like a paradise.
The sun flooded from my mother’s room into the kitchen area.
Well, to do the job, or read or write letters, too bright room is not good. Still mother’s room looks attractive in winter XD
