katriona_sIt was sunny, mild, beautiful autumn day today! I went to Yokohama Port Museum with my friend.
(Retired sail training ship Nippon Maru and Yokohama Landmark Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Japan)
We went there to attend a "learn about the nautical chart" class. My friend who also loves sea-going stories has found the class and asked me to join. It's just a very elemental class, just 2 hours. But it's interesting to hear about chart ... though I found it's too difficult to learn how to use it just in 2 hours XD
But the nautical chart certainly has some irresistible charm, makes me imagine the old days of tall ships and sailors...
After the class we enjoyed casual lunch then strolling around the waterfront. The air was mild and comfortable...
