On my trip to UK, after leaving Scotland I went to Derbyshire, England. There I visited an old, grand manor house Haddon Hall near Bakewell. It was wonderful to see this old but beautiful house in the countryside.

I was fascinated by these small glasses of the window, the changes of subtle colour of them.

The garden was also beautiful, I have strolled around in every corner of it. I have stayed there just about 2 hours but it’s an enjoyable visit, I really like this place :)

How beautiful! It looks Tudor; I like that era of houses for the light, simplicity, and openness, unlike later times when decor got darker and ever more cluttered, culminating in the worst of Victorianism.

We have many panes of glass in our house, but they're all clear, though some are uneven and slightly distort the view outside. :)

Oh, lucky you...such a clean, pristine architecture, a state house that is a real gem. I wish I could see it but thank you very much for sharing!!!

Gorgeous! It's hard to imagine living in a grand place such as that.
