buying stamps

Now I'm making my greeting cards (belatedly!!). And, today I went to the post office to buy the postage stamps. I knew how much the postage was, but just in case I asked the staff the price of the international postage stamp. Then, surprisingly, they (there were 2 young woman at the counter) didn't know the price and could not find it for a while! I had to explain what I wanted, and they searched some document in the drawer to find it. In the end I could buy the stamps(of course!) but this was an unpleasant experience. I wonder... if those women were just dump-ass, or, there are few people who send letters to foreign countries nowadays??

Ah dear, this situation is very familar - I experience this every year! Every year the rules change and there is such a chaos ...but what is sure - the postage prices higher and higher...

Oh yes, the situation is quite similar here. That's the reason why I asked them the price. And, of course now many people stop sending the ordinary letter and cards, instead send e-messages...
