White morning

Today, Sunday. I woke up late, and found it was oddly light in my room. I don’t have curtain inside of the window of my room, but have Shoji, sliding paper screen which the light can come through.



But this lightness was not sunshine…. I opened the shoji and found this X(



! ! ! ! !



It seems have start snowing around 3am. Poor garden cats…they must be freezing! :(

When I saw your first photo, I guessed it would be snow. We are on the coast too, but hardly ever get any. I actually enjoyed snow when I lived in Germany because the air is nice and dry.

When I was a child I liked the snow :) But now I can see every inconvenience and danger of snow. It's good to see the snow-covered ground, but the coldness is quite severe today... X(

Poor kitties, I hope they found shelter! But what pretty snow... (Where I live we just got 3 or 4 inches of snow, but it's already mostly melted away.)

Around here snow is usually very wet, maybe most of it would melted tomorrow but in the shade some snow would remain and freeze the road surface... very dangerous :(
