trying to find an architect.

I live in a small wooden house with just 2 rooms and tiny kitchen, toilet and bathroom. This cottage was originally built for my parents as a kind of wedding gift from my grandfather, next to his old house in his property, nearly 50 years ago. Now my grandparents were long gone, my parents live in the main building and I've lived here by myself, enjoyed the carefree single life for years. I love this old wooden house though it's not convenient and have been quite contented with my circumstances.

But during the last 2 or 3 years I have become to think that it's time to do something about this old house, it won't last forever despite my love for it. So during the last some months I have tried to find a suitable architect who would rebuild this house, design a nice house in which I would be live for the rest of my life safely and comfortably.

And I found it's not easy to find a good architect... no, I found many seemed to be good architects - it's very difficult to choose who would suit to my sense of value. I can only afford very reasonable price and this might be the only opportunity for me to build my own house...
Anyway now I'm going to contact some architects and feel a bit nervous.

Thus this is quite a challenge for me. I'll report about this project again...
