Recently I bought a blue flared skirt. And noticed, it's really after a while I bought a skirt, for usually I wear a pair of trousers especially when I go to the office. So I felt a bit - new, when I wore it on the next day XD






What I found first was that I felt a bit cold :( then, that I had to be a bit careful, to hold down the skirt to walk up or down the stairs. And I was a bit surprised about I had forgotten those things. How long had I not worn skirt?

The only time I wear a skirt is in Victorian Festival weekend. I find them annoying; trousers are much more comfortable and practical. :)

Practical, oh yes! And the Victorian era… it’s so amazing that in those old days every woman wore the long skirt every day… How little those skirts have given them the opportunity to be active!

I think it was deliberate. In most cultures, women had to wear clothes (and in the case of Chinese, tiny shoes) that curtailed their freedom. I'm so glad we can wear practical clothes now.

Your skirt does look nice and cool for summer. :)

Well, I believe this skirt is very elegant and comfortable and in warm weather, it is definitely better than trousers...at least it would be for me. I too prefer trousers but - never say never!

Yes, in warm and nice weather, skirt can be more comfortable! But not the windy or cold day! XD
