Cat is always cat…

There is the water tap and basin just outside of my window, and I always put a bucket full of clean water there, for the garden cats. They usually drink water from the bucket. Though some days ago I saw one of the garden cats drunk water from the ricefish basin XD. The water in it does not clean enough so I could not understand why she chose it :(

Ah, this is that one with a black tail. Well, maybe she liked the taste of the fish. LOL
You do a very good thing, water is essential for any animal; I bet many birds drink from your bucket too!

Haha, I don’t think any bird would drink water from the bucket because it’s too close to the window. But our garden cats often visit it for water :)
And I have done this for years for you and villakins gave me the advice years ago! Thanks.

We provide water for our cats, inside and out, yet they also drink from dirty puddles. Maybe they like the taste?

Cats have such strange taste in water! XD It's always better from somewhere you don't want them to drink it from...

Because cats really enjoy doing things they should not do.

It's like asking why would they eat plants that are toxic to them? Even after the plant makes the cat sick, it comes back for more Forbidden Leaves! Why? Because...cat.
