typhoon evening

This evening, when I came home, first I closed the shutters outside of my windows. They are heavy wooden shutters and usually I don't close them even in winter for they shut out the outside light and I'm afraid of oversleeping in the morning. But today a typhoon hit our country and is approaching to our district, now we have heavy rain and they say it will become heaviest at midnight so we have to be cautious.
And with shutters it's quieter in my room. A bit eerie quietude just with the sound of rain on my roof. I hope it will pass without serious damages...
