silence of the telly

katriona_sSince last Friday my telly has been silenced. It said something was wrong with its antenna or connection and it cannot get broadcasts at all at present, and for I haven't found time to check them my poor TV is still silent even now(on Tuesday).
The reason I have left it is first I've been busy, and second, I don't watch TV much. Usually I turn on my TV just in the morning to see the weather forecast & important news and check the exact time, seldom watch it in the evening. Now I check them on internet every morning.
And without TV it is peacefully quiet - I have felt that most of the recent TV programs were too noisy, even in the news program young women presenters speak casually in high-pitched voice - I can't stand it! :(
I have to fix my TV anyhow but now it's doubtful whether I will turn on it every morning again...
