It's too much

In the early morning on 17th Jan, 1995, there was a huge earthquake in the west part of Japan, the collapsed buildings and fire killed more than 6000 people on the very day. It was the Great Hanshin earthquake, the first big earthquake which hit the centre of big city of modern Japan. Many Japanese never can forget it, it has been considered the worst disaster in our history.
I remember the unbearable sad, helpless feeling I had when I was watching TV news focussed on the fire spreading over the very wide area, the whole town full of houses, factories, office blocks and... countless people's lives. Myself was safe, sitting and just watching TV and could do nothing for those vanishing lives.
And now, after 16 years, again we are forced to see the same, and have the same feeling... this uselessness of ourselves. On the live broadcast we see, on this very moment, the big waves or fire are swallowing the town, houses, cars, ships and people, the whole world is watching it and praying but no use for the soul now is been killing there.
Nature is merciless, it has no sympathy nor understanding toward human beings. We all know it very well, still... it's enough. ...tears
