The Lost Thing

Yesterday the book I have ordered via Amazon a while ago was delivered. Shaun Tan’s “The Lost Thing”. I saw some original drawings of this picture book and watched the animation film based on it in the small exhibition about 20 days ago, really liked them. So bought the original English version (not the Japanese translation).





How can I say about this lovely book? The drawing, the story and the whole atmosphere are all cute, enjoyable, and sweet. And such nice book shows me that writing or drawing, creating something unique surely has some meaning, the value in this quite uncertain world :)
