sprinkling water

katriona_sNow our old house was gone and the construction of the new house has not started yet for it is summer vacation week now. Therefore the lot has stayed empty for a while and with the strong sunshine and no rain it raises a dust when wind blows, we are afraid that it might be much trouble to our neighbors. So everyday, twice or three times we need to sprinkle water on the ground. On weekday my mother does it but today(Sunday) she is out so I sprinkle the ground with water.
On the bare ground it's so hot. this was a simple but more troublesome task than I have imagined before. But when the breeze blew water into mist it's quite comfortable to touch it and the temperature dropped with the heat of vaporization temporarily. After all handling the hose and water is not a bad pastime on midsummer X)
Unfortunately soon after the watering the ground began to dry... soon I have to do it again!
