As for my ...not-smart-coworker. Today too when other coworkers and her superior were not in the office she talked to me, said she was deeply thankful to me for my support for her. So you see, she is not a bad person, trying her best to be sincere. I can't help feeling sorry for her. Unfortunately, though she seems to really want to be nice, "trying my best" or "I'm sincere" don't mean much in the office. Here the point is how to achieve the result, not how hard we try nor how sincere we are. She often insists her good intention but never be able to persuade others for she provide no data nor logic to convince them - just some ideas. This is so childish and naive. If she is 20 years old then someone might teach her the method but she is 40 now, and we usualy expect 40 years old office worker to be more experienced. Being naive might not be her fault but I don't think she'd be able to get along with us. Well... let's see how the personnel department would manage this situation.
