the last flowers, the last fruits.

katriona_sAfter some cold, gloomy days this morning we had mild sunshine. In our garden most of narcissus flowers were gone but I found some and picked them.

In the afternoon I picked kumquat fruits from the tree to cook them. Since the end of the last year I and mother had picked them some times and now the rest of the fruits on the tree didn't seem to be very fresh. I think this is the last harvest of kumquat in this winter.
Then as usual I took all the seeds from them and simmered them with water and sugar.
I'm going to see my friends on Thursday and would like to give them the small bottle of these kumquat. Every friends of mine and my mother's love my kumquat :)
