dinner with friends

katriona_sYesterday I ate out with my best friend and her husband after work. They have invited me for a nice dinner in a small but smart & rather expensive Italian restaurant - as the delayed birthday gift for me :)
The food was good, but the best thing was that we enjoyed talking together. My friend and her husband had once lived in Rome for 2 years when they were younger, and during that 2 years I had visited them 2 or 3 times there and had wonderful time with them. So for all of us Italian food is the thing which evokes enjoyable memories. Last evening we took time to enjoy the food, spent almost 4 hours and left the restaurant around 23:00. So today I've been tired and sleepy, but it's great to have had such time with friends :)
