Busy but enjoyable weekend

katriona_sYesterday (Saturday) I met an old friend. She and I have known each other for more than 30 years, went out together often when we were students. But after she's married and got baby we haven't had much opportunity to meet for our life-styles were so different, we have just exchanged greeting cards once a year for ...maybe 16 or 17 years. But now her children have grown up and she has more free time, and we decided it's time to renew our friendship. It's a fine day, we enjoyed a nice lunch in Chinatown then walking around a big waterfront park - and talking! It's good to talk with a friend again after long interval. And in the park flower beds were wonderful with many roses and other flowers, many people were enjoying strolling around.
After seeing her off I went to my favorite shopping street and got some clothes and shoes, then met another friends to have supper together. It was nearly midnight when I came home.
Today, Sunday, it's again fine day, and I went to Tokyo to listen to the classical music in the famous concert hall with a friend. The performance was great - Dvorak's "From the New World" and Ravel's "bolero" - both are my favorites. And had a cup of tea and a big piece of cake - it's sweet & high-calorie, not good for my health but tasted good ! XD
When I came home it's around 6:30, I took shower, prepare meal... It's past 9pm when I found time to check my computer.
It's a busy, enoyeable weekend though I don't think I could have enough rest ... I hope I won't be sleepy in the office tomorrow XD
