mid-autumn ... and mooncake

katriona_sNow we are in the autumn rainy season. Weather news forecast the series of rainy or cloudy days, and the occasional sunshine on these wet days is precious. Today it's cloudy with weak sunshine sometimes, I saw the homeless cat and her 4 kittens were relaxing & playing in front of our house... a fine autumn day!
The day before yesterday was the mid-autumn festival day, and yesterday I went to the Chinatown to buy the mooncakes. The Chinatown of Yokohama is one of the biggest Chinatown outside of China, it has more than 220 Chinese restaurants, 400 other shops and restaurants, now one of the most popular tourists attractions in Yokohama. There we can buy Chinese mooncake anytime, but only on this time of year they sell the mooncakes with egg yolk in their fillings. It's yummy and I like it :)
