prepare for the cold

katriona_sToday I wrapped the water pot in the garden with jute cloth. Our winter climate is not much severe still sometimes the temperature drops and water surface freeze in midwinter, so every winter I do this for the rice fish living in this pot.
Japanese rice fish has a tolerance of cold, and the water temperature would not become very low at the bottom of the pot so I might not need to do this, I rather do it for myself, not to worry about fish during winter X)
It's a chilly cloudy day today, my rice fish has seldom come out of the bottom of water recently but when I wrapped the pot some fish appeared, like greet me before their inactive days. I hope many of them would survive and come out again in spring :)
