warm winter

katriona_sYesterday and today, it's abnormally warm. It's about 18 or 19°C in daytime here, this is quite unusual. And last night we had strong wind and rain, maybe because of the strong wind there was a big fire in a certain city yesterday, more than 140 buildings were burned. How terrible! Here we had no damage, just ... my labour to clean the windows the day before yesterday was all in vain!!!
But after the rain this morning it's fine. This is the national holiday (the Emperor's Birthday) today so I stay at home, cleaned all the rooms and wiped all the wooden floor, went to the grocery store to buy some food for tomorrow my friends visit me here. In my garden, a homeless cat was drining water from the giant clam shell which becomes a watering place just after rain.
Mr.Uma was enjoying the sun as usual in the room, look at him relaxing on my mattress like a boa made from the fur of a fox XD

Oh, and look at what I got today from my pen-friend Kimiko.
Every year, before Chiristmas she makes nice biscuits and sends some to me. Her biscuits look so professional and tast good :)
