Trip to Cornwall (St.Michael's Mount)
Jul. 10th, 2017 11:57 pmI'd like to share the photos I have taken on my recent trip to Cornwall with my LJ friends, for I was quite fortunate about the weather most of time and took some very nice photos! First, some photos of St.Michael's Mount. I don't remember when and how I had first known about this impressive place, but I'd wanted to visit there for years...

When I arrived at Marazion in early afernoon it was high tide but I could see the causeway under the water. Very impressive!

In the evening, on low tide.

The rapid change of the water level was really amazing!
Next morning I walk to the Mount just before the tide coming in.

(The castle and garden.)
I love the views from the castle windows. Under the blue blue sky, from every window I could see the blue of the ocean.

And their gardens were just wanderful, full of flowers. It's unbelievable that they can keep such beautiful garden on such tiny island facing the ocean!

(From the castle terrace, the view of the causeway and the small town of Marazion.)
