katriona_sSaturday. The annual rainy season - usually from the middle of June to the middle of July - is over unusually early this year, and we have had hot, sunny but humid days recently.
This is the first weekend after my holiday trip so I was going to stay at home to have rest and sort out the travel photos. But some days before my acquaintance gave me the tickets of the art exhibition of William Turner, held in Tokyo and will end on Sunday (tomorrow). So this afternoon I raised my energy and went to see it. The exhibition was rather crowded (Turner is very popular here in Japan) but I could enjoy the works - paintings and engravings. Most of the works are landscapes, and I found some were painted the places I have visited. It's impressive this famous artist had visited the same place and might be impressed by the scenery like I did...
