Walking in rain XD

katriona_sSo I came to Shikotsu-ko, the lake among the mountains, famous for its deep, clear and clean water. Also for the hot springs on lake shore. Today it’s cloudy but air is fresh, I walked up to the summit of nearby Monbetsu-dake mountain(865m). It took about 1 hour and half to climb up, first little view for the trail is in the woods but with wonderful birds’ songs and vivid colour of leaves. I even saw a squirrel in the woods! From the summit I could enjoy wonderful view of the lake, mountains and wilderness though it’s very windy there.

Unfortunately when I have walked down(took about 1 hour) it started raining, when I came back to the lodging I was very wet X). This is not a expensive lodging but with nice hot spring. Its hot water is really soft and wonderful. Outside of the window it’s still raining now but the weather forecast says tomorrow it would be fine, and I’m going to do kayaking on the lake :). Let’s see...
