katriona_sOur loft is just above my room, there are built-in bookshelves, an old sofa and a desk, an old Singer(sewing machine) and some small chairs, some other old stuff there. And in the end of the room we've kept two pile of spare futon mattresses. Now, my nephew is going to live with us from next week, and he'll put his stuff in the loft so mother and I decided to clean it up. We took all mattresses downstairs to air them in the sun.
This is the first time to move them all from the loft since when we began to live in this house in March 2014, the wooden floor which has been covered by mattresses for 5 years is very clean. And we are rather impressed how this loft looks big without the piles of futon XD If we put a small bed and air-conditioner here this could be a good room to live in for a young boy.
Unfortunately in our small house we don't have any other space to put all futons so soon we'll put them back. Though this clean floor of the loft reminded us the days when we'd just moved into this house amd were filled with joy X)
