Now it’s August! Unbelievable how fast time has passed. It’s very hot and humid since last week. The problem is that even after midnight and very early morning the temperature does not fall. Many years ago, of course it was very hot in summer but we often had shower late in the afternoon which made the temperature fall so in the evening and early morning we have had rather cool breeze. But now we seldom have such shower in the evening and more and more ground are covered by pavement, even in early morning the temperature is about 27 or 28℃, this is terrible! We all are more or less exhausted.
By the way yesterday my nephew came to our house. He has slept here and this morning went to the office in Yokohama for the first time! I believe he has done some job like waiter on his vacation before, but never in the office! I’m looking forward to listening to how he’d felt in the office. He’ll live with us maybe for two months, it might be a interesting change for us. Though I’m a bit afraid of how much would they charge me for the electricity during this summer ... XD
