Saturday routine

katriona_sSaturday. I had slept rather late, cleaned Krurun’s toilet, had breakfast while the washing machine did its work, vacuumed all the rooms then cleaned all the wooden floors with a mop, cleaned my own toilet, then polished the shoes I had worn during the last week. These are my Saturday morning routine. Today I did the house cleaning rather closely, so when I finished all these tasks it’s already 11:30. I’m not a clever houseworker X)
I don’t love these housework, they are a bit troublesome. Still, I can feel not a small contentment after I do them every Saturday, enjoy sitting on the sofa in a clean room and a cup of tea. I always feel I’m fortunate enough to live in the house I can keep clean and nice. I know some friends who dislike cleaning or cannot tidy up their rooms thus always live in the untidy house or apartment. I can’t understand how they can live like that. Untidy or dirty rooms drain our positive energy, I think.
Anyway, I enjoyed some quiet time after my Saturday routine, then in the afternoon did something in the garden. It’s sunny, warm and comfortable today so working in the garden was really fun. Then nice teatime with cup of tea and sweets with mother.
