On a sunny winter day

katriona_sToday it’s fine. The sky was blue and no cloud at all. I do my job at home, sometimes go out into the garden to stretch my feet and arms, and enjoy the stimulating early spring air. A happy end-of-winter day.
On such day it’s really, really difficult to imagine how is the situation in Ukraine. The ordinary peaceful life, and suddenly the missile, bombing to the houses and apartment… Just lunatic, barbaric, unforgivable act. I think … what are the Russian soldiers thinking? When they destroy the towns and the lives of ordinary people which must be quite like their own hometowns and families? Are they really so foolish to believe Putin? Or they don’t have choice for their own safety? We have many serious problems in this world, the society of democracy and capitalism is far from the perfect, still any stupid society is better than the war. Haven’t we learned it from the difficult experiences of the last war?
