A quiet day

Today I worked at home. Mother has been out all day, I was alone (just with my rabbit). It’s cloudy with occasional rain, humid, but the temperature was not high. Compared to the recent hot days, it’s rather comfortable. I have opened all the windows, and the sliding doors between the rooms … there was little breeze today still the air was moving in the house. It’s quiet, and without mother, I felt like there were more space than usual in my house. Though the current job was rather dull, I have felt like… how can I say? Being free from many things… On lunchtime I went out into the garden and picked some okras(gumbo). The gift of summer…
