Visiting an open air museum
Nov. 6th, 2022 09:09 pmToday, it’s sunny and comfortable. I visited an open air museum of Japanese old folk house with a friend. The museum is in Kawasaki, the area between Tokyo and Yokohama, it’s about 1hour and 20 minutes train travel from home. There are many old houses, mostly of the rich farmer or merchant in 17th or 18th century, relocated from various areas in Japan. And now they are nicely located on hillside area with many woods some of which are now in the good autumn colour. We walked around, looked those houses, enjoyed talking etc.

This is a sunny Sunday and there were many visitors but the museum area is wide enough, everyone looked happy though we had to wear masks when we walked into the houses. I like old houses and enjoyed to see those houses, they and sometimes red or yellow leaves with purely blue sky above were just wonderful :)
