Gloomy Sunday

Sunday. It has been cloudy all day, we may have some rain in the evening. And it’s chilly! Without sunshine, this time of year easily becomes gloomy days.


Now most of Juneberry leaves are gone…

Since yesterday I have tried to draw to make my annual greeting card. But I have been terribly lazy about drawing this year, my hand seems to have forgotten how to draw X( and it takes time!! And, of course, without the holiday trips abroad, I don’t have many enjoyable events to report about on my greeting card :(

I wonder, next year would I travel as much as before? or, another stay-home year? not because of the pandemic now but mainly because of the war and the financial condition.

We have received winter out of the blue !!! 10 cm of wet and heavy snow, minus 1 or 0 during the day. Not good, we have to start heating and the energy is excesivelly expensive due to the crisis with Russia-Ukraine war. It is the end of Russian gas and oil and literally everything. And so far no adequate substitution. I pay more than 1/3 of my pension only on gas...and the energy will be even more expensive in new year. We have to expect hard times...

Your climate sounds very severe! And, yes I have heard about the high prices of the energy in Europe. At the moment fortunately our situation is not as bad as yours but the prices keep rising… very worrying.
But life must go on. Please stay safe!

BTW, I ask you, please do not try to send your nicest biscuits or something to me for the holiday season, it must cost too much and bring much trouble. I too might not send the gifts to my foreign friends this year :( But I’ll send my greeting cards and I’d love to get your message which itself is good enough :)

Dear, I appreciate your care very much. As for the biscuits, I will probably have to think of it...and also the ordinary postacard is so excessively expensive...But I will do whatever I manage! HUGS

Maybe I’ll visit you in the future when we’d have the better time and ask you your biscuits!! XD so let’s wait for it :)
