On sunny morning, and my favorite book
Nov. 22nd, 2022 07:12 pmYesterday it's raining and chilly, I have been busy in the office all day and tiredly come home, and inadvertently had a quarrel with my mother for about just a trivial matter. My mother is 86 so I should be kind and tolerant of her, I knew it very well but last night I was so tired that could not be as patient as I should be. Naturally, I felt disgusted at myself, my whole life seemed to be useless...
I understood well that such gloomy mood was mainly because of the exhaustion, still it was very uncomfortable and discouraged.
This morning it was fine. Before going to the office I went to the orthopedics clinic for I have hit my shin badly some time ago. The doctor also measured my bone density. The result was, I had no seriou damage on my leg, and my bone density was higher than usual. Yay! The doctor is a young and good person, nice to talk with. Before the examination, in the waiting room of the clinic I have been reading "Travels eith a Donkey" by R.L.Stevenson which I have reread at least once a year for about 35 years, and still can enjoy every time :) I found this small travel essay was really enjoyable and encouraging piece. The weather, the check-up result and the book oddly made me feel good and positive.
Then I walked to the office. On my way to the office I saw these flowers on the ground, Himetsurusoba - pinkhead smartweed.

They are pretty, one of the flowers I like though they are usually considered as weeds. This was just on a small patch beside some building but they bloomed nicely like on a flower bed.
Another nice flowers I saw on my way.
