The small concert

Today I visited my friend N's house in Saitama prefecture to enjoy the small concert. N is an amateur (but very good) opera singer and teaches singing some pupils at home. This afternoon she and her best pupil had a small concert, then a small party(N is also good at cooking!) So I, some other N's friends gathered to enjoy listening their singing. It was good, then we enjoyed eating and chatting. Though her house is far from mine, it took about 2 and half hours to get there by trains, I had to leave there earlier than other friends. Pity. Still it's good to have enjoyable time with N and other people.

And, I met the black cat who is N's companion :) She (the cat, not N) was rather a shy cat and hiding all the while on my several visit in the past, though she has been seriously ill for a while recently(so I heard) but now she is OK, and she seemed to have become more friendly than before. Today she let me touch her a bit :). It's always good to make friends with small animals :D

My friend lives in the two story house alone with her cat. The house was once her parents’ , now her parents have passed away and her sister lives with her own family somewhere else. So in the house she has plenty of spaces for her cat. It seems the cat is really spoiled by her XD Sometimes my friend calls her cat “the queen” XD

She's beautiful! Our black Sebastian (who looks just like that) was very shy with strangers - he used to run and hide or go outside) but has become more laid-back in the last couple of years. He's happy with visitors now.

I heard this black cat was originally a stray cat. My friend had given her food first in the garden then inside of the window, then the cat has become her companion. Now she(cat) lives indoors always.

We had a cat like that, Vic, who is in this icon. We first fed him outside because he was scared, then after he got hurt and we took him to the vet, he became very tame. He lived with our other cats, in the house and garden like them (ours have always been able to go in and out via their own cat door).

I like Vic's fur color. He is very beautiful cat :)

We used to say he looked like a white cat with black paint spilled on him! He was such a sweet and happy cat once he had a home. This icon is a drawing of him too.
