Cards

24th Dec. I have got the annual greeting cards from my foreign friends recently. It’s fun not to read the message but to see what kind of cards they have chosen. Though during the last few years some friends have decided not to send the ordinary card but to send e-message. I understand, e-mail message is easy, doesn’t cost, and punctual. I found recently more and more cards don’t arrive safely, in many countries the postal service seems to have problems. Some cards arrived late in Jan or Even in Feb. It’s so ridiculous.

StillI prefer the ordinary cards which I can display in my room, and read many times. For example, isn’t this card very cute and enjoyable to see?

Ah I am really moved to see that you have chosen mine! And yes, I share your liking for paper cards. I have a special box and have been storing all the cards from my friends there, including yours - which are the most original. Sometimes I open the box and admire the cards. These are lovely reminders of my dear friends worldwide...

I like this card very much. Very cute and at the same time smart. I think Czech designs are very often quite smart, maybe because of your history and culture?

Thank you! I thought - yes, this one must go to you! As for smart things here, we do have lovely things based on our old traditions, yes. Unfortunately, these are hard to get because the shops are full of commercial kitch...

Very cute card!

I did not get any cards this year, and I did not send any. I got one present. A friend sent me socks. She did write a note as well. The friend who has sent me a festive holiday newsletter every year - this year just sent me a photo of himself with his beard colored green and decorated with tiny ornaments. It was creepy.
